[IMG] First of all You should think in a class that can be benefit from high charisma. Paladin for example will be a good one... charisma add to your save throw also, his hit as good as a fighter and can have smite evil at second level. You can also think about cleric, but the best clerics spells are at high levels and he don't hit that well. One choice you could think on is a monk as long you wont use armor you can put high dexterity, some wisdom and charisma. That way you'll have high AC since monk add the wisdom and dexterity modifier to your AC and you will be able to use some of the monk's items like the boots sun soul. You can also think on the arcane archer(if you have the shadow of undrentide). There are others multi classes to do like with a rogue(will be similar to the arcane archer). You have to decide what you want from your character: a great spell caster? a tank mage? a fighter mage? a archer mage? it's up to you... Just remember that the best spells of the sorcerers are on his last levels so think well if you will be ok without them...

Multiclassing sorcerers is generally not worth it because you lose spells in the process.

But you have three logical options:

    1 level of paladin
For a big bonus to saving throws and Divine Grace

    1 level of monk
For Evasion and wisdom bonus to AC

    1 level of cleric
For the animal domain to increase the power of summons

As for wizards, you probably should stick with a pure class.

You could take a level of cleric for the animal domain, and that's about all.

Wizards probably gain the least and are penalized the most for multiclassing out of all the classes.

Wizard you can think about one level of monk for AC and evasion, but you'll have to put some wisdom(like i said for the sorcerer). With it you may also get stunning fist and improved unarmed strike that may give you(if you build you character for that)some ability to melee fight and deflect arrow (at monk level 2). That's the only multi class for the wizard that may worth...
Also I wouldn't put the cleric... The gain on animal domain don't worth it. You'll be better without it.
PS: I use to play without using any summon neither henchmen... It's harder but you learn more about your character weakness and strength that way you'll be able to create a better pvp character (if you like pvp of course).
