    [IMG] Argh!

Even after my release, the effects of 2.5 years of National Stupidity still show!

I wake up at reville timing every morning. I keep wondering if I have brush shined my shoes and doubts about me surviving the next weapons inspection/parade still plague my subconsciousness.

Damn you, Singapore! What have you done to me?

Hehehe, you've been corrupted. Start to worry start helping old ladies crossing the road, for no personal gain, or help a child who fell off their bike and grazed their knees.

There, there.... you'll get over it, trust me. But think of it as an advantage, when you take over the world you already know the effects of brainwashing
    from experience.

Damn, my backspace key is spacing out.

Yesterday I had fun with the other LARP freaks. I
promised to participate in a game, canceled another because of that and ther lack of money, and hit people with a sword. Apparently I was semi-good in it :D My left-handed Dwarf imitation was pretty popular

(Left-handed dwarf: Having your bioth legs and
your right arm disabled by hits, and thus kneeling and using the sword with your left hand...

I have only little time bbefore school starts... but boy am I glad of the fcact that it's 7 hours of computerwork :D

TSR has copyright on drow methinks.
They're most likely taken from Tolkien's dark elves which were probably based on Scandanavian folklore, which is where elves originated. Scandanavian folklore has dark elves with a name I can't remember and Sidhe as your average high elf dort of thing.

Today was my second day at school, I arrive and ask the teacher for a project, we don't have clasess, but projects for clients.

He didn't have any at hand, so I could return friday, or if I had an overdosis vacation I could help installing the server...

Guess which option I took :D

In Scandinavian mythology elves are Alfs. Seidhe or Tuatha te Danaan are Celtic. TSR might have the copyright to the name drow.

White mocha in the morning eeerr.. is 12:38 morning still? :D Hmm... anyway, for me it is. So, white mocha has done me good. Oh well, it's true that Irish is better, but this one is still nice.

For the second year now, there's no school for me on Monday. Hurrah! On Sunday I'm going to the seaside for two weeks. No family, no friends, just I and my ego.

TSR ceased to exist 5 years ago so it doesn't hold a copyright on anything. What was TSR is now under WoTC.

    I hereby predict Sniper's future:

His band will record a respectable yet short album, consisting of five tracks. It's subtle genius will go largely unnoticed by the public, but will be a firm favourite on college radio. Forseeing the band's future success, the record label moves fast and signs Sniper for a five-album deal plus a "Best of" compilation. For the first two albums, the band continue to do what they do best, pumping out classic, homespun songs, refusing to accept outside influences, and pledging to remain true to their musical principles.

However, although their musical style is exceptional, its genius remains hidden, buried beneath modern pop trash. For their third album, the band leave their booze-for-nothing non-stop-party hometown, and travel to a cold, dirty recording studio in central London. Caught off their guard in these dark urban climes, patience wears thin between the band members, and tempers can be frequently seen snapping. In troublesome times, they produce their darkest, and most unappreciated music to date. Hardcore fans will someday look back and label the album as a work of pure art, but its success is very limited.

Vowing never to return to that musical hell, the band take on a new producer, a hardened, commercially obssessed ex-lawyer. The fourth album is the poppiest so far, but manages to retain the majority of the band's orignal essence. It is an instant hit. Unfortunately, their new producer moves on to rap, but some of his dogma remains behind. The fifth album is their most hard-rockin' yet, and the public laps it up.

The band now reaches the end of their fruitful record deal, and whilst preparing to sign a new contract, they are approached by an emissary from Warner Brothers. Offered a deal they could not refuse, Sniper is sent to break the bad news to Riffany. It is taken with grace, but few eyes are dry as he leaves to take on the world.

The first record with Warner Brothers is an odd one. It appears to be all over the place, with a few insanely poppy tracks present to try and win the audience, a couple of mandolin-based songs to act as an experimental sound, and a few traditional fillers. It is their first record with sales in the millions.

Ten years after being signed, the Band begin work on a new kind of sound. Based mostly on the success of the mandolin tracks in their last album, they construct an undeniably brilliant record. It ranges from emotional mountains to canyons, all songs but one complete works of perfection. Their first single rockets to number one in the US and UK, and stays there for seven weeks.

Riding the wave of success, the band focuses all their efforts away from any touring or charity gigs and into their eight album. If their seventh was genius, this is supergenius. It is a dark mirror of their earlier, London based third record, but has none of the brooding disagreements behind it. It is perfection in song. The lead singer of the White Stripes, now an international grunge band, is found dead with a pistol in his hand, and hole in his head, and Sniper's record playing in his CD player.

The band soon realise that fame is becoming too much for them, so in an almost deliberate move, they release a widely rejected album. While the band's popularity dies down, a terrible accident occurs on tour. The drummer, in the middle of a song suffers a massive stroke, and is immediately taken to hospital. Luckily, the band are in Switzerland, and his life is saved.

But the terrible accident prompts the poor man to confront his mortality, and he leaves the band to become a farmer.

The band is in complete dissaray. For the next few years they release a string of experimental albums that no-one really notices. That is, until their crashing return to fame with a brand new, orchestral sound, twenty years after first being recognised. The album stays in the charts for over a year, and the six singles released from it all reach the top ten in either the US or the UK.

After that... my vision is foggy. Sorry. :)
