Y'know, this is just my luck. I'm not sure if it's a re-injured muscle from when I slipped on the ice back in late Dec./early Jan. at my college campus (the idiots don't know how to treat the parking lot), or if I just slept stupid one night... but I pulled a muscle in my left butt cheek. I've been dealing with it for at least a week now and it seems to be getting more painful as each day passes. Makes it difficult to walk, sit, crouch, etc. In fact, I don't know what hurts worse - this or the one time, when I was 10 years old, I slipped while playing on a jungle gym and had one of those metal bars meet me smack between the legs (and yes, guys, it hurts just as bad on a female as it does for a male lol).

Funny thing is - even though it hurts like hell, the place where I have the muscle pull cracks me up. As I sit here typing this, I'm giggling pretty hard and of course, it's pulling a bit on that muscle and so I'm cringing while I'm laughing. Now if anyone tells me I'm a pain in the ass, I can glibly reply "No I'm not, but I have one if you'd like to borrow it!"

I hope you've got plenty of ibuprofen on hand for that :p or something similar ;)

I'm going to have to go bully my doctors for a top up on my meds soon, I have both hips getting stuck out of joint and a coccyx that has learnt it can dislocate, so with you in the pain in the arse!

I once fell on my arse in the ice. Hurts like buggery. On the plus side, as I was lying there with my legs in the air I realised that I was about to go to work with odd shoes on!

8 - I definitely have plenty of ibuprofen on hand for it! Also been raiding my stash of muscle relaxers that were left over from the back injury. Helps a ton! And I wonder who came up with the medical/technical term of coccyx when tailbone is so much easier to say - tho coccyx sounds funnier :D

Silvery - yeah it does hurt like buggery. What an interesting way to realize that you had mismatched shoes though! :D
