No. And the cap at level 30 is really more than enough for just about everyone.

I've seen it written that the XP cap is hardcoded. That is, throughout the engine, it's wired to level 30. Which is, the way I figure it, the reason why no one's found the 2 or 3 bytes that have to be changed to override it.

You're going to have to load Dalekeeper, and either give yourself a killsword, or overbuff with spells. You can do an end-around, but that's about it.

There is an XP-cap remover but it sucks.
(maybe there isn't one because I always confuse IWD1 and IWD2)

I think editing the 2da files would remove the xp cap...

But, the work is long and the xp cap is high, so no one has bothered to edit it...

And no, i think the xp cap is not hardcoded...

But who NEEDS an xp cap remover for IWD2???

    BTW/OT
The 2da's include some VERY intresting settings... Such as Faction (PS:T) and Dialogue files for BG1 chars. (Kivan, Faldorn, Garrick etc.)

Taza: I know what you are talking about, And it Actually has level coding for all races/classes up to 34 or 35...

But the actual Experience is Capped.. I think they have the tables set up and everthing..

And i've experimented with it a Little... ^_^

Just been a while.. I also found the area in which you can decide the actual.. "Rules" For the races.. I just can't figure out how to remove the Day Blindness on Drow..

I found the feats/abilities per level thing.. That's pretty fun to play with..

This raises an interesting point; I've been tinkering with different mods to the rules, but does anyone know where the rate of ability score increases is stored at in the files? I can't find it, and I've looked at every 2da file (I think). Can it even be changed?
