    This may be a dumb question (although, going on my track record it'd be hard to tell!), but I've just realised that I have Hordes of the Underdark and Shadows of Undrentide. Are these both expansion packs for NWN?

    Also, I'm on my first ever run though of the game (better late than never, I've only had it for about 2 years!), should I install the packs now or just continue as I am and install them later when I have a better grip on the game and am on a new run through?

    [​IMG] Install them all at the same time, they are separate storylines to follow anyway. You can bring a character through all three if you want to.

    So can you install them part way through a game? Does it make any difference?

    You can install them at any point, but since the expansions introduce new prestige classes, feats and skills it makes sense to install them right away so you can take advantage of that from the character creation onwards, even in the OC which originally didn't have any of those new features.
