There are things science cannot explain, for these things there could be several explanations but the most common approach?

    They must be wrong.

    Why?

If the standard approach to science is that if it cannot be explained then it cannot be true then that leaves very little reason for scientists to even continue to exist. Yet if the argument is that scientists are still discovering new things every day then there must be true skepticism without outright denial of an occurance.

To have faith in science is to acknowledge there is things that are yet to explain, but to reject the notion of anything outside of science is also to take away its own power. Without imagination and creativity how can science truly flourish? How can new approaches and unique methods be theorised if the limitation of logical thought is by what is already defined and exists?

Take the same approach to a faith, too often the answer 'God works in mysterious ways' is bandied about. Without a desire to understand gods of any pantheon then advanced mathematics, astrological correlations and the very basis of science would not exist as it does today. One should embrace the opportunity to question your own faith, in science or religion as an opportunity to gain fuller understanding and familiarity with the object of your own personal security. Without reaffirming and examination how can faith truly hold?
