Not sure if anybody will answer, but no shame in trying, right? Anyway...

So, I once again decided to give this one a try... hopefully, I'll actually be able to finish it this time. It's not that I didn't like it before, something just always came along.

Anyway, I found this page: http://thunderpeel2001.blogspot.si/2009/01/planescape-torment-fully-modded.html and followed the instructions on it. I have a GoG version, so I only did as instructed from the step three. Everything seems to work perfectly, I just can't quite set the correct resolution to my screen. Funny thing, whether I try 800x600 or 1024x768. the result is the same, as shown on the picture. And if try some larger resolutions, the game won't start at all or gives me a message like the one shown on picture.

I have your pretty basic laptop(don't know the exact model, though I can probably dig it up, if that matters), if that matters.

So yeah, any help towards resolution would be greatly appreciated. Now, the pictures:

I have the Gog version too. My PC is running Windows 10, which has no provision for 16 Bit color. Nor can I tile the Window?
The computer is always right. If you don't want to switch to full screen and if you don't want the mini-window, you will need to switch to 16 Bit, if you can.

Ideally, set your resolution to your screen resolution. Make sure you're running the game in fullscreen. The current latest version of the mod is 3.07, so if you're using an older one, update it. What you absolutely need to do after is correctly install the UI mod so that the GUI isn't shoved in the top left corner or stretched horribly across the screen. Other than that, it should work on any resolutions.

I have no idea if or how things work on WinX. The OS is far too fresh to troubleshoot things properly, so my only suggestion for for that is to run a virtual machine with WinXP and hope that solves your problems.

Forgot about Compatibility Mode, that may avoid the hassles.
