Was reading through some old 2e stuff on Amn and I realised something looked a bit off...

Took me a good while of staring before I figured it out and all...

Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, the world map, omits a WHOLE MOUNTAIN RANGE and adds an ocean to the East... Wat?!

I mean, the small teeth pass is meant to be in the middle of that range so why isn't it there? Now that I know the 'official' map the game one looks even more bizarre to me!

I've also been wondering how difficult it is to make areas, I think the greatest difficulty would be making an area that fits the graphical level of the existing maps. I'd like more explorey areas in BG2 like there were in BG1, optional but added so much more fun and depth. Could mean a better spread of quests as well instead of Parcel Force: Athkatla Edition.
