Thank you for sharing the info on Icingdeath. You are absolutely correct. But I have to ask, what spawned such a comment, Los Drizzt4? I couldn't find anything that referred to the famous dark elf aside from your own public identification.

"My point was that the topic had obviously evolved to discuss the BG1 portraits as well, as most topics here tend to vere off into other ideas. Had you "heeded your own advice" and "read the previous posts a little more closely" as you so rudely put it to Aldeth and others, you would've picked up on that. It's not really off topic - as we ARE discussing the portraits - and even if it was, you don't need to be a such a little twerp about it."

First off, I wasn't trying to flame anyone for being off-topic -- or flame at all for that matter, sorry if it came off that way. Second, my point was that there seemed to be some confusion about one instance where someone had made a statement about BG2 portraits -- in which case it was true -- and a couple other people then started applying it to BG1 portraits -- in which case it was not true, but that wasn't what the original poster had said in the first place -- and contradict him. Lastly, I'm now going to try to edit my previous post to clarify what I left out by mistake.

    @ Buck

No problem - I just didn't think that needed to be said at all. The diversion into BG1 portraits was never IMO a result of not reading the previous posts, but a natural and welcome expansion most good threads tend to take. Don't sweat it.

Okay, Rabbit, but just one last time for the sake of clarity:

First, someone said that the half-orc portrait was the only one in BG2 not assigned by default to an NPC.

Next, someone said, no, that's not true, there are a number of BG1 portaits not assigned to NPCs....

    And thus, confusion ensued. ;)
