Congrats, Beren! :D Have fun teaching this year.

I wish I had money so I could buy food and actually do something other than sit around and play computer games and watch TV. This is getting boring.

Well I am off to no internet-land at my wife's parents house, so I shall not be babbling for a while. Try not to have more than 15 pges while I'm gone, any more than that and I have a hard time catching up.

Why yes! Way back when men were men, women were women and sheep ran scared, there was a magical land that did not have micro technology. Radios only played one amplitutde modulation, brave young boys on horseback delivered the mail and these com-pu-ter things were the size of walls. :geezer:

    The cookies didn't last long.

Don't forget that there was only one TV channel, it was black and white, and it only came on the air at 12 noon and was off again by about midnight.

AAANND, there were no cars, everyone had to walk everywhere, uphill, both ways, in the snow. Unless you were really rich, then you could afford a trained dinosaur to ride. There weren't houses because no one had invented Estate Agents, so people lived in a hole int' road & used the dino poop for insulation. And we were glad for what little we 'ad, not like young folk nowadays, don't know they're born most of 'em. What they need's some time int' army. That'd fix 'em right up! Or kill 'em. Either way, they'd learn to stop their whinging. That's what we old folk are for, and we do it best. :geezer:

    :p

You had hills? You lucky devil. They hadn't even invented hills yet, in my day. All we had was a stick. And we were glad of it. :geezer:

No Internet-land? I remember being there. Then I met the White Rabbit. And the alarm kept going off on his web-enabled Blackberry mobile phone, making him run away in a panic. I followed him into a dark room. There was a home delivered pizza which said eat me and a Budwieser that said Wasssup.

The Chesire Cat was on his laptop leering at the Puss-in-Boots site. I asked him about getting back to No Internet-land and he said something about sparkly red stilettos. So I backed away.

I drank the bud and it had no effect so I drank the remaining nine. I can't remember what effect they had. I woke up when I heard someone banging on the door. It was a delivery guy with a smug look on his face and a box of high-heeled shoes from Ebay in his hands. I said they weren't for me and pointed to the cat, but he had disappeared.

I used the new sparkly red shoes to boot the laptop and the screen broke. I was immediately teleported back to No-Internet land.

So the moral of this story is don't buy only one bud at a time.

I am mostly evangelizing these days to anyone that will listen about not getting entangled by the web, like the proverbial reformed harlot that I am.

    Soooooo......

They made a fourth movie in the Scary Movie series. Wasn't the first one dumb enough?

Busy busy week! Calculas assignment due tomorrow. Statistics test the following day. Calculas test the day after. Economics assignment due on Friday.

With two big hockey games to top it off. Game this Tuesday, if the girls win, they more or less have a straight passage through to the finals. And then the game this Sunday, if we win we just scrape through into the semi finals!

And then to make matters worse, I've been asked to join the club committee. Thought I'd escaped them when I left archery! Still haven't decided whether I should or not. Always fun been able to boss people around and good helping out, but the work... On the plus side, the committee is made up nearly completely of females.

My lousy cat peed all over my robe today. :flaming: If she wasn't so cute, I would have Cat-a-pulted her arse across town. :p

So instead, I rubbed her nose in it quite thoroughly, gave her a good spank on the butt, and using my animal behavior weapon (a squirt gun), I unloaded about a liter of water on her as I chased her throughout the house.

And now I have to do my laundry... :nolike: :rolling:

Well, just popped by college today to fill the paperwork for an apartment on campus, and I got one, a 5 1/2 which I'll be sharing with two of my friends.

Funnier ever, all of them were "What?!? I can't believe it! What brings you here?". When I told them I was returning, they decided to throw a party to celebrate my return. Funnier ever, they even decided to throw a party this weekend "to celebrate the party we celebrated this week to celebrate a new semester of debauchery and the return of a best buddy". :shake: :shake: :shake: :shake: :shake: :shake:

Good to know they haven't forgotten me. And are still as party animals as they used to be. :D
