    Last earthquake in Denmark was a couple of years ago, an astounding 4.5 on the Richter scale.

    An earlier earthquake, measuring almost 4.0 in 2008, awoke several people in the early morning. There was one casualty; a bookcase fell over, killing a hamster.

    Yeah... Doesn't it suck to live in North/West Europe? All the earthquakes! I remember an earthquake of 1992. I was one of the people "who did not wake up". :eek: (from their sleep)

    There was an earthquake in The Netherlands last year! I kinda confused it with a truck driving through the street, only to find out later I survived an earthquake ;)

    There have been two small earthquakes that have hit my part of Canada recently. The first one I felt, I was sitting at my desk and I thought maybe the house was slipping on it's foundation or something, then 30 seconds later everyone on Facebook was freaking out.

    The other one I missed as I was on a plane at the time, which is kind of funny because at that time I had only flown twice in the previous decade!

    Well I guess a plane trip is better than shaking trees Reep :) I'm thankful we do not have earthquakes here, and not a huge amount of power outages ;)



    We did have a huge tornado rip apart a chunk of the city in 1987. I was just a kid then but I remember watching everything on the local news. Back then tornadoes were very rare here.

    this is bad, oh god this is bad ! The interview is in less than an hour ! My pants are too tight, I spilled stuff on my only white shirt, it's like a gazilion degrees out there with the goddamn humidity, I'm so nervous I drank 3 coffee and must've smoked half a pack, this is going to show during the interview... On top of that I'm not really sure I want the job. I mean I want it, but it's the night shift thingy, my sleep pattern is already messed up and I need pharmaceutical aid to sleep. ARRRGH I'm freak out and I'm soooooooo gonna messed up this interview.

    One of the things I hate about Winnipeg weather, it can be SO moody.

    Picture it, Sunday afternoon, bright, sunny, at least +30, and not a cloud in sight. So I decide it's the perfect time to go out and get some summer biking done. I love long distance biking when I have the time for it.

    So I start coming home around 6:00 p.m. And ... I'm sure you can see this coming. Yep, a thunder storm rolls in on the wind faster than Thor can nail down Loki. Came home a soaked rat. Unbelievable ...
