No longer Beasts of Chaos the Beastmen can no longer obtain marks of chaos!

The only skirmishers in the army are Ungor ARCHERS (zomg) and Harpies from the Dark Elf book as flying units with the option of being scouts for +3 points.

A lot of units are the same, which is awesome, Ungor are meant to be on smaller bases now but can still be used on the larger ones the same as the Gor if you'd like.

    New Minoaurs look... interesting.

New Primal Fury is amazing meaning passing leadership gives you a bonus such as Hatred and/or Frenzy which can happen every turn while in combat! Also Ambush rule is incredibly well balanced (which will incite hatred, obviously ) and looks incredibly fun.

Shamans have a new lore open to them: The Loe of the Wild where a 16+ spell allows you to summon a FREE GIANT (Or Giant Variant: The Ghorgon or the Jabberslythe which sounds fricken weird and has no pictures only an obscure description)

So there are four lores open to Beastmen now, Wild, Beast, Shadow and Death. Saves me buying more Shaman! I thought I'd have Slaanesh, Nurgle and a Tzeench Beastlord in an attempt to get all the lores! :D

They have a gorgeous creature called a Cygor, which is a Cyclops that can see magic but everything else is a blur, they can also act as a stone thrower, reroll to hit any magic users, any model with magic items or magic attacks, any creature with a ward save and the undead

There are chaos gifts which can be bought with magic item allowance but are not affected by things that affect magic items which is useful as the Beastmen have an item with desctroys all arcane items within an 18" radius!

Minotaurs can't be made a core choice, Centigors can with a hero upgrade. Whoop!

No Shaggoths :wail: none at all, no Dragon Ogres, Trolls. There's a new type of pig called a Razorgor, is a special unit in a heard or on its own on a Chariot, Tuskgor Chariots are still core! :D

All in all my love for the Cygor and similar units has settled with my lament at the loss of raiders and Shaggoths. Just means I will have to collect Warriors at some point I guess :( Have been tempted by Slaaneshi army, so will look into it...
