Magic Dagger, Wand of the Apprenti, and a Dark Omen lol (sort of)

    Hello, I got the Planar Sphere as my Stronghold (I got to decline on the Thieves guildhall) and I'm really glad I picked the sphere as my base. I got the Golden Girdle as a reward for sending the Solamnic Knights to their homeplane. Then (I hope I did'nt make a mistake...which I think i did) I took the wand of the apprenti (which in my opinion is a no brainer). The reason why i think i made a mistake is because I think I missed out on the Ring of wizardry because the option I got for the 3rd reward was the 3 scrolls (Mislead,Meteor Swarm and one I forget). I hope I don't lose one of the apprentices because I took the 9th level spell for them to research but i probably will. Does anyone one know if i missed the ring or will it come up again as a chance in the future? Thank you for reading my post...

    You only get to try for each item once however even going for it does not mean you will get it (they can fail) and also many of those items cause your apprentices to die which you may not want to happen.

    To get the ring you need all apprentices to survive through the entire 'quest'. Each option you're presented with during their lessons has more or less danger of killing one of them.

    For the 1st round, the dagger is the option that will allow all apprentices to survive - the wand has a big chance to not succeed or kill one if the apprentices, and the ring is a surefire way to get one of them killed.
    As far as the scroll making options of the 2nd round go, the higher level ones have more chance to kill one or more apprentices off, and for the 3rd round you should not have them attempt anything - all other options will lead into at least 1 of the apprentices dying, locking you out of the ring.

    Thanks for your feedback all. My first mistake was to select the meteor swarm scroll. I chose that before knowing that you could lose an apprentice or two doing that. if I had known, I would've selected the mislead spell and I probably would've gotten that round right. I lost Nara in the creation of that meteor scroll and second off I could'nt even scribe it into my spellbook! Then I chose the ring of wizardry with 2 apprenti left and they both died. There was dialogue that said "lets end this" I took it literally so I felt i had no choice! I headgamed myself out of it. Does anything else happen in the sphere from now on? Do the Cowled wizards have quests to do or what? Just updating you people :).

    2 days after the apprentice graduation you will be approached by an npc to travel back to the sphere - doing so will unlock another small quest. (remember to sleep in the city at times to make sure npcs have a chance of spawning and approaching you.)
    After that, aside from sending the knights back to their home plane if you havn't done so already there's nothing else left to do. There's also no king of mechanic like the thieves guild where you have to manage your thieves every so often.
