[IMG] I just bought Icewind Dale on the bargain rack. No manual, but I think that my Baldur's Gate II manual will get me by.
Once into the game, I selected my characters and moved them. The game slowed to a crawl and the mouse jerked around and was uncontrollable. I believe that something like this happened to me in Baldur's Gate 1 and it was fixed by switching off a button in the mouse software that was something like "enhance for Microsoft Office" or something similiar. I looked to no avail. I have Windows XP. Any suggestions?

    err...
    patch it?

If you also have HoW, you can download TotLM which was the last patch.

Also you might want to check the background programs running. Or check if the OS is trying to give you any message.

Hope you didn't get SP2 installed.

The version of Icewind Dale that I have is 1.06 which is (I believe) the last and latest. I do not have HoW. SP 2 is not installed yet. Why not?
