    Well, 30 minutes ago the World Cup Football (or soccer for the american people) has started. Unfortunatly without The Netherlands.... but i like football, also when my country doesn't play.... Support here your favorit country, and talk about the matches.

    France - Senegal 0-1 after 30 minutes... suprising...

    My Senegalese co-worker just came in and gave me high five. She told me that next they're going to beat the U.S. (Like that's a challenge after you've beaten France.)

    I vote we rename the Senegalese team "The Frog Killers."

    Sadly, no Yugoslavia (well there are Slovenia and Croatia but not my bit) in this one. The best I can do is to cheer for China which has Bora Miutinovic as its manager. PLUS I've got one of those Coke ringpulls for them.

    COOL! If they win the world cup I get a T-shirt! YAY! :rolleyes:

    [​IMG] I have to cheer on Russia. Since at school we were doing put £1 in and draw out a team. If it wins get 1/2 of the total money back (then 1/4, 1/8 and 1/8 for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively) I got russia, yay :p
    But the jammy guy next to me got Brazil and France, total fluke and amazing luck. But now france have lost their first match hehe.

    The WC is on! And it started with one helluva game! In a couple of hours it is Cameroon-Ireland, /me sets the alarm clock. An Ireland without Roy Keane, interesting.

    Germany is on killing spree.... it's now 7-0.... 5 minutes to go....

    Game ended in 8-0... a sensational score.... you won't see that much on a WC...

    8-0 eventually :D ...but to be fair .. I really doubt germany would produce a similar result against a real opponent ... saudi-arabia isn't really what I'd call a football nation ...
