I've been reading up on background information for the Tomb Kings which has led me to read Nagash again taking copious notes on everything vaguely interesting as well as researching into ancient egyptian ways of life and mythology, which I have always had a place in my heart for anyway. I want to start writing fluff/army background which sounds authentic and reads well. I'm currently still on the first book of the Nagash trilogy (but then again the third one hasn't been released yet) so have a while to go before I have anything that can be written for certain.

I wrote brief synopsis for my Queens in a thread in a Warhammer specific forum and will do the same for my priests as well to give me something to expand upon. Will probably attempt to include stories on how they all meet and how they all acquire their posessions and powers as well. I don't want to make them sound epic and beyond what any special character is which seems to be a trend, though I can see how easily it is to fall into that pattern. The characters in any army are designed to be extraordinary it's finding a balance between power and realism as the risk runs of writing about something which should, by all means, be earth shattering.
