New to BG1, want to try multiplayer

    hey guys,
    im new to the game as wondering if theres anyone who would like to play it multiplayer? ii think it would be more fun this way

    In my humble opinion, multiplayer in Baldurs Gate is very poorly done. I tried it once via GameSpy, and it ended up being 6 people all wanting to go in a different direction. Seeing as you need to be really careful with where you step at certain points in the game, I think your gameplay experience will be much better if you play it on your own.

    The only exception I would make is if you play with friends in the same room. I believe communication is much better then, rather than if you are doing it via voice chat.

    I did it that way with a friend in BG2, and we actually made it quite far before we stopped playing it.

    Which is another point, I would believe you have a much bigger chance of actually completing the game if you play it solo, as if you need to rely on someone from the internet, things may drag on for a while. :-)

    Like I said in the beginning, this is all my own thoughts regarding multi player, if anyone has had positive experiences with the multiplayer part, please tell!
