    Hey all,

Been playing Oblivion and its expansions for a few months now and have found them quite good. I has a look around TES Nexus and saw a lot of good stuff but it was very overwhelming.

Was just wondering what mods people would recommend, how to install them and what order to install them in.

I am mainly looking for mods that add dual wielding, change the level scaling (as i get my butt kicked past level 15 or so), new items and places to explore and maybe companions.

Any suggestions? (Looking at Nakia :p)

I would recommend the Glenvar Castle Mod. It's a good quest and it makes a great place to hang out afterwards. Also, I suggest the CM partners mod, which can be dowloaded as a standard zip file and added to the data folder. It will come with some characters that you can use right away, and can be found mostly in the Imperial City. I mostly use Divine Angel's excellent CM partners, including Karla, Eva, Feria and Tamera, which can be loaded to the data file after you load the basic CM partners pack.

If you plan on getting really serious, download the OMD, Mod Manager, from TES Nexus, it makes installing and managing all your mods very easy.
I made an album which contains the Glenvar and Karla mods. It has only very minor spoilers for solving all the riddles in the quest, so don't be afraid to look.
