I'm not playing them at the moment, but they're still some of the best games I've played. :)

    I played Fallout1 first.

    I was hooked. Completely.

Fallout2 was terrible. The story completely sucked. It wasn't just far fetched; it was downright un-workable. There was un-Fallouty stuff in there, all over. Whoever was on the development team should have been beat with blunt objects until they peed themselves.

Other than that, Fallout1 was excellent. Definately worth the money spent, and then a little bit...

Lots of silly pop culture in Fallout 2 which destroys the atmosphere, which was done flawlessly in Fallout 1.

Have never played Fallout 1, but Fallout 2 was great. Was, now that I know where everything is, and the plot isn't that great, the game has become boring. The dull graphics and monotomous sounds do not help.

Played 2 first and 1 later, because I came to want to live it all.

I would even play 2 again, but the trouble with me is that I always remember things too well. I've never read a book twice - I always remember too many details if not the whole main plot.

So, I've played Fallout I and Fallout 2 twice. Twice means it's really a great game as I played it despite the fact that I remembered it all. Only BG2 scores higher on the list - twice finished SoA, once ToB, now playing again. Probably I'll replay the whole saga at least once. However, I also intend to return to the toxic world of Fallout some day.

True, only game that´s better than the Fallout series is the BG seiries. Although I liked both Fallout 1 and 2. #2 alittle more even. Probably because #1 is to small. Takes about one hour to complete. And the best part of #2 is after you´ve completed it. Continue playing and go visit the drunken priest in New Reno and you´ll see (if you haven´t already)

Only thing wrong with Fallout 1 was that it was too simple, both combat and dialogue -wise. And the timer was screwed as well, as you didn't have enough time to actually enjoy the world when you had to hurry off somewhere all the time. Otherwise the plot was better by far than in the case of Fallout 2. I would've liked more emphasis on your joining with the Brotherhood of Steel though. Something like what you see in Fallout Tactics.

Fallout 2 now, even though the main storyline is anything but good, the game in itself is completely awesome. You could really be anything you wanted in that game, and still make it through. Only evil characters were mistreated there.

I don't play fallout atm, but I did just a few months back, and I plan to in the future.

I've spent some 3 years active, weekly gaming on Fallout 2. Almost twice that if you count in the time spent for Fallout 1 as well. So yes, I'm still hooked, even if I'm not playing either of them at the moment.
