    I would go for the PC, it is a PC game first and foremost.

    I'd only play it on the PS3/Xbox if I had other people to play it with on those platforms.
    I played the demos and the PS3/Xbox ports are very well made, with lots of extra features - all characters gain a dash ability and item/gear comparison is more streamlined, for example. Once you finish the game in normal mode though Diablo 3 ends up mostly as either a farming game or a multiplayer game.
    Personally, I don't like playing MMO-ish grind games on my console.

    I agree with Paracelsi. I'd only buy it for a console if it was because my friends were also playing the console version.

    That being said, I haven't actually tried it on a console, so I cannot speak from personal experience. Those of my friends who also own it on console, however, seem to prefer the PC version.
