The first FFs are NOT for children  I like all the FFs equally (except the gameboy ones, they suck :p )

I NEED a playstation 2! I have Final fantasy VII, VIII and IX. :flaming:

Though have recently been going through a FF7 bout, and have taken to breading Chocobos. (Wark!)

I think that my favourite char from FF7 would have to be either Aeris ( starnge I know, since she

Dies, not even halfway through) or Cloud.
FF8, I haven't played that in a while, and FF9, I am going to start again on when I have completed both 7 and 8. And hopefully have a playstation 2 so I can have FFX as well!

Oo, started blabbing on a bit too much. I'll end now.

Jesper, c´mon; you claim that the FF5 wasn´t childish at all? And that the main characters weren´t children dressed up in too big clothes? That there were loads and loads of twists and turns in the plot?

@teek: Which one did you like her in the most? She was in more than one of them.

That's my opinion, too.I liked them so because of the story, wich was really good in most parts, and the fighting system, the job-system in the earlier FF series and the Materia sytem in FF VII.But I hated the Draw system in FF VIII

I hated FF VIII. It almost ruined Final Fantasy games for me.

[IMG] I liked all of the Final Fantasy games from 6 onwards, having not played the earlier ones yet. That said, I think VII is the best in terms of story and characterisation: Cloud and Vincent are simply too cool! What square could do is remake FFVII for the PS2, with the same story but better visuals. That'd be worth a look.

Edit: darn spelling...I'm an English student for Pete's sake!!

I liked FF V and VI (Although I knew it as 3 on the SNES). I liked V because you could customise the characters, and I liked VI because of the espers, the plot, the, hell everything about it.

Edit: Oh, and favorite character was either Sabin or Edgar. Sabin was just cool, and I always liked Edgar's Chainsaw.

[IMG] I liked FF3 for the snes back in the day. My favorite character was Setzer, the gambler. Loved his outlook on life and the gambling motif to him.
