The Baroness was a very tough fight. It was all about timing, if she managed to drain me it was game over.

  • I started off by Paralysing her with a glyph, then quickly throw a Death Cloud. After that I froze her with cone of cold, to give me time to cast a Vulnerability Hex and a Death Hex for Entropic Death.
By now she started opening a Fade Portal. I used Virulent Walking Bomb on her and let her finish casting. As soon as the portal opened I used Hand of Winter and Nature's Vengeance, then I used Time Spiral to reset cooldowns and threw another Nature's Vengeance.

She had taken a lot of damage at this point and was running for the gates to the courtyard. Now this is the most critical point in the fight; you need to be able to do enough damage to her before she gets the chance to run out and grab you. I had contemplated saving Time Spiral for this so I could do a double Entropic death on her, but didn't reckon I'd need it if I could just get her paralysed.
I threw a Death Cloud within the courtyard area, then used a Paralyse Explosion and followed up with a vulnerability Hex and a Death Hex for Entropic Death once again. Now she was almost dead and was beginning to run towards me. She froze me... I had actually died twice because she managed to freeze me at this point in the fight, and run over and grab me before I could kill her. Fortunately this time I broke free before she could get to me and took her down with a Winter's Grasp :).

EDIT: Come to think of it, Curse of Mortality might have worked to negate the whole draining thing, always forget that I have that spell...
