  • . . . being immune to most of my hardest hitting spells (spirit based spells), but being a straight up melee fighter without any special tricks up his sleeve, he is more than manageable (although I did go through quite a few Lyrium potions, since the fight dragged on).

    I started off by casting an Affliction Hex on the boss and then, through the use of Time Spiral, I threw two Hand of Winter, which took care of the two lieutenants. From there on it was just a matter of keeping either Misdirection Hex of Glyph of Paralyse on him all the time (there was a brief period between Glyph of Paralyse running out and Misdirection Hex coming off the CD where I had to Force Field myself to prevent getting chopped up), keeping Vulnerability Hex up, and using my cold spells and my staff to damage him.
