      Looks a bit more weary at this stage. Hm, maybe this is not so much the evolution of a single piece as a series of pieces.

      I suppose it is. How could you make the sadness creature appear to have become weary here though without either more than one piece, or a photographic documentation of the progress of the one piece? Or are the photos part of the piece itself?

      That would be neat - if this project was actually partly a photo essay and no one knew it. :)

      No one knew it including myself? Actually that is an interesting idea and I think the photos are an important aspect to this piece. At least for me I see how visual ideas can change and I wish I had photos of a lot of other under-paintings I have.
