    I can't remember because its been so long since I last went through this EE game...but is there and where is a scroll case. I need one very bad as my scrolls are really adding up. Thank the makers for the potion bag and gem bag. I'm really liking this playthrough of EE but I need that scroll case bad!!!

    It's a reward for completing Firebead's fetch quest in Beregost. Once again, a thing that you'd probably find out much quicker if you used the wiki. ;)

    Well, I don't disagree. I just think it's better for people to invest a moment or two researching things on their own before asking for help. It forms good habits and keeps things moving more smoothly on everyone's end. Occupational hazard when you've been a rookie instructor for years, I guess.

    Not like we've got too much forum traffic here, plus there's always the potential for somewhat expanded discussion, so I wouldn't want to shoo everyone to the wiki, even when it comes to simple questions.

    Well Keneth made a good point. I went to the wiki and cant find anything about it there. I don't think he gives you a quest for it, but I know I've come across that book and I really don't want to wait to go to Candlekeep. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of that book anywhere? Because its not a quest in your journal. I tried to pickpocket Firebead but I got 40 firebullets. Then I got into a fight with him (after a save luckily!!) and killed him. (Minsc cut him to bits!!) The scrollcase was on his loot but I didn't want to take the 10 point hit to my reputation. So where on the Wiki do I look for that book? Or does anyone have an idea? I don't really want to search for it again by backtracking my whole journey to this point but Marek is dead and I've recovered the antidote (10 sips) so I don't have to worry about the game ending if I stray too far. If anyone can pinpoint it's location I'd be grateful...

    I think I'll find it now. On the right of the Wiki I looked for items then books and I see its in Nashkel. So the search continues...

    If the main character talks to Firebead He'll give you the quest "A book for Firebead" and the book he's looking for is History of the Fateful Coin. The Wiki gives its locations under Items-then books.

    In case you're still looking - the book can be bought at the Inn right across from firebead's home. Also worth picking up The Unicorn Run book sold there too for a quest way down the line in baldur's gate proper.
