Would anyone be interested in running or playing in a Pathfinder game? I've become quite the fan of this system over the last year or two, and I think it's a fine update of the good old D&D 3.5. It also has a huge free database at http://www.d20pfsrd.com, as well as some great adventures and, imo, a pretty cool setting.

Are you talking forum game, IRC or something else?

To be decided, I guess. An IRC game would be good if we can get enough people engaged at the same time.

I`d be interested. The main problem for me would be the time difference, though. I live in Norway, so i would have to stay up during the night to play, I would think.

Well, if it was IRC or some such, I would love to join in if the times matched. Not enough time to devote to DMing though, I'm afraid.

Just purchased a pdf version of pathfinder. Something I wouldn't mind sooner or later, so figured this would be a good time to get it. Even if things don't get off the ground, it'll be good to have.

[Edit] Eek. The thing doesn't do the combining posts like it use to. Sorry about the double post, in that case.

One of the pluses of Pathfinder is that they put almost any crunch on their SRD site. It makes it harder to navigate, but if it's for pathfinder and Paizo knows about it, it ends there in very short order, even if it's third party stuff like the psionics adaptation from 3.5 .

Edit: BTW, if we get enough people and no one wants to DM I can try, but I'll probably run a somewhat adapted premade adventure.

By the way, what time zones are most people interested in a game in?

I might be interested, just have to get my head around how pathfinder differs from standard 3.5. Probably best if we want a successful session if I am just a PC, not as DM :p.

I'm UK so am currently UTC +1

If there are no other people willing to be GMs, I can try it - I've been waiting to check how one of their newer adventure campaigns works out. Would that be fine with everyone here? It's obviously in Golarion, so there may be a bit of "homework" involved so you know, for example, what terms such as "Pharasma" "Taldor" or "Chelish" mean.

If times match, sounds good. I'm aware though that I'm on the other side of the world - however, if it's the right evening your guys time, I can definitely get up some morning and play.

Ok, let's do another roll call - who's in for an IRC game (late afternoon/evenings in GMT/+2) in the Pathfinder setting? As there's no one else wanting to give it a chance I can try running a premade adventure... take it easy on the newb, guys :)

    Me!

I simply don't have the time/energy to GM at the moment. However, if things do continue into next year and you're wanting to play a bit, I could give it some thought to take over for a bit. But that's a long way off yet.
