[IMG] Nakia, you're a lovely woman who is kind and thoughtful - you think about a multitude of topics that many wouldn't consider and in new and usually different ways. Whilst that will rub people the wrong way sometimes, you are who you are and anyone who knows an ounce of your personality knows you never intend any harm and are simply expressing personal thought and experience.

Dash anyone that puts you down for that, don't let it eat at you, things will cool down and iron out, patience will need exersizing though ;)

Just tested out an Under Armor Polartec long sleeve shirt that I got from a bargain bin. Was meaning to use it for cold weather but the tag says it was 'Heat Gear'. I used it for biking today and got both cold and hot weather and some rain showers to boot. The shirt actually worked very nicely. Kept me warn during the cold morning, kept me cool during the sunny midday and dries up fast after the rain. Not to mention I didn't stink in it.

    Two free days! :D:D:D

    ---------- Added 1 hours, 25 minutes and 31 seconds later... ----------

BTW: girls/guys who dyed their hair - will something terrible happen if I put the dye on for the second time in two days?

It could dry out your hair or you may have a reaction to it, it may go horribly wrong or it may be fine. Depends what colour you're planning on going and what's in the dye x

Thanks - I'm planning red (as always), and the dye is one of those ammonia-free wondrous artifacts +3. :D:D:D

[IMG] Differently based dyes will react to each other. If it's the same colour over the top you need to be careful if there is any peroxide or any other bleach in it which can melt hair or damage the scalp, also if there are metal salts in the dye (Such as the Fería series) they don't appreciate being dyed over without a big break inbetween - even if it's the same series or colour!

Basically, be careful and only do it if necessary.

You can also get colour strippers but it's best just to have a break. And yes, we are awesome

[IMG] Colour strippers don't work properly with metal salts as the salts bond into the hair, it's what makes them last for bloody ages. Best is to wait about a month - if you intend to bleach your hair, wait longer, they're vicious little bastards when toyed with

By the time my hair was ready for redying I didn't have any cash spare to spend on dye! Then again, I have birthday money early :)

For some reason, I read that as, "I have new boobs"

In other news, CTRL+I and other quick commands don't work in Google Chrome. :( FSM forbid that I actually have to type "" and "[ /I]"...or go to the full reply page...

In other, other news....Firefox sucks balls. :p

    >Implying the ones she has now are not EPIC. :D

I agree. The damn failser crashed my Vista all the time (Vista is a fail, too, but two fails should go together :D). Opera FTW!

    @Kitrax,
Perhaps I should make the move from Firefox to Chrome then. I don't like wikipedia making Ctrl+e to be edit instead of end-of-line.

I'm not sure though, me and Firefox go back a long way. I have been using it as my main browser ever since it was called Phoenix.

    Wow....ok then grampa. :geezer:

Chrome is not only faster then IE and FF, it also knows what you're thinking as you type since it has Google brains. I've also found that the built in spell-checker in Chrome is better. More diverse library I guess.

I still find myself using IE8 most of the time, but for those times that IE8 is being a POS, I use Chrome.

I was invited to a vampire halloween party next sunday. Instead of the usual goth style vampire, I found my costume yesterday : I will be a trailer park vampire! :D A red flower shirt, a stained wife-beater underneath, the ugliest pair of blue pants ever, white socks with sandals. I will also borrow from my dad his huge belt buckle and a very ugly white hat. Complete with my long hair loose, my moustache (I have been growing my facial hair for the past week or two to cut it just right) and a clear beer bottle filled with fake blood, the masterpiece will be complete! Mouahahahaha...

Yes and no. With all the driving I did in the summer, my forearms are tanned but the rest is not. You can even see the limit of my shirt sleeves. I'm even more trailer park vampire... :p
