Kids these days, with their underage drinking and gambling.... :geezer:

In other news....My work computer sucks. We just got some snazzy (and brand new) Lenovo 22" LCD monitors...but our crummy Dell PCs from from 10 years ago can't support a widescreen resolution. :bang:

The company needs to switch to a modern PC running Win7.

    [IMG] Underage? He's 19...

New gaming club opens tonight, not sure if I'll be going or not. Was supposed to be going to work with Kev today then moving off but I think he's picking me up on the way as I have the boards here with me that I'm finishing off painting.

I consider anyone under 40 to be underage.

Kit - your company uses 10 year old computers? Well, that probably explains the quality of technical advice you give here. :p On a related note, if anyone wants tips on how to use a rotary telephone, I'm your man. :D

[IMG] How silly. So are you not legally an adult until you're 21 in America? Or do adults need telling what to do as well as minors?

It's a mixture of 16 and 18 over here. Which means that you are considered mature enough to get married and start a family at 16, but aren't mature enough to vote, drink or smoke until you're 18. It's a bit crazy.

It depends on which state you live in in the US. The legal age for driving, smoking and drinking, plus probably a lot of other things, varies from state to state.

Drinking doesn't vary from state to state, but gambling must, because it is 18 in Massachusetts (to buy Lottery tickets, etc). But 21 is the age for alcohol in all the U.S, as far as I know.

Yeah, it depends on the casino here. The one in town is 18+, but I know plenty with different ages. For instance Quest Casino in Spokane was 18+ two years ago, went up to 19+ last year, and is now 21+. A lot of casinos in Washington use 19+ for some reason, and the 21 is understandable because that lets them have legit bars on the casino floor (I think).

    All sorts of confusing.

My freaking Voq can run a NES and Genesis emulator... I played Pacman during the downtimes at work, then I got on WoTES on the way back home. Sweet!

    Time for more fog.

ION, I despise Guru, but the two-week vacation in Hawaii contest is just too damn sweet to let pass. Even if I have to drink this crap instead of my usual Xyience.

*EDIT* I'm watching an old WCW PPV, and the three-way weapons match, Bam Bam Bigelow VS Raven VS Sandman is providing me with an overdose of violence. And I love it.

I just found out that you can't donate blood if you are heavily nearsighted. What the f... , I went to a donation drive today and they said that there is a chance that my retina would detach if I have a seizure. I know it can happen due to very strenuous activity, but I work out and don't have any problems with that as long as I stop when I get a headache. Yet I'm not exactly lifting weights there, am I ? I've already given blood once, as a student in Germany, and my eyesight isn't much better - then and now I have approximately - 8 diopters.

I was going to donate blood yesterday, but I had eaten so much candy that I feared whoever got my blood would get an instant diabetes.

I can't donate blood since one can't if one's had a new sexual partner within 4 months. This would mean that

    A) I'd get steady with someone

    or

    B) I'd not have sex for 4 months.

At any given time either A or B are extremely unlikely, if not completely unapplicable. Sucks to be me.
