Has anyone found their headquarters? I'm tired of these guys hunting me! I want to find Mr. Burke and the Talons (if they're affiliated) and end them!

They are not. Burke is in Tenpenny Tower, the Talon mercs are in a compound to the South West of Arefu. Their hideout is not close to Arefu but if you explore this area you should run into them. The compound itself is surrounded by fences and is quite large, you shouldn't miss it.

I don't know how to give more precise directions.

Still, I'm not sure that clearing the compound will stop their attacks but it will certainly be entertaining.

They stopped attacking me after about 5 tries. I'm currently the Final, Last Hope for Human Survival or something of that sort. Stupid Brotherhood stil won't take me in to learn to use power armor.

It may be a level thing.

    I don't think so Omni.

The brotherhood should let you learn how to use power armor after you've rescued Doctor Li and her crew. Ask Elder Lyons about the training and he will tell you to go see Gunny or some such for the training.

No, it's not. You didn't play the main quest, did you?;)

You can receive the power armour perk during the main quest at the
    Citadel.

Power Armours are a bit of a let down in Fallout 3 but they do look great.

EDIT: olimikrig beat me to it and was more specific, I shouldn't have fooled around with so many spoiler tags.

Indeed, Power Armours aren't anywhere near as powerful as they were in the first two games. But I must admit, those Enclave Power Armours looks awesome :D.

Just ran into three Talon mercs with my new character in front of the Super Duper Mart. Good thing I had a shotgun, these guys can be a pain. ;)

@olimikrig: I like the Tesla armour a lot, but since I can't really stand the Enclave I'm a big fan of the regular power armour (but I would never have my character wear the helmet, it looks so much better without it).

The best armour is Ranger Combat Armour unless there's something really better. But standard issue power armour isn't as good as Ranger.

I meant the talon merc company attacks being level dependent :p I've already play through the game once ;).

And yes, the Tesla Power Armor looks awesome and is way more functional for a shooter than the regular stuff :).

I must say I like fighting these mercs, it's always a lot of fun.
