Basically, the short story is a family on holiday in France got gunned down in their car - plus a passer by on a bike got plugged too.

This is a really intriguing story that's got the conspiracy theorists going nuts. All the victims were killed with a double tap the head, and a single shot to the heart. This indicates a professional hit, especially seeing as the shooter made sure there were no witnesses. However it's rather strange that 3 people were killed quite cleanly and professionally, but the 2 young girls survived. The older girl was really beat up and suffered blutn trauma, which again is a totally different MO. Was she being used as some kind of interrogation leverage? Another weird thing is that the youngest daughter survived by hiding under bodies in the car, and wasn't found until 8 hours later, despite the car being the only crime scene.

Without meaning to sound disrespectful, it's all quite fascinating. Basically he had ties with Saddam Hussein which he then fled to Britain at some point. He was being investigated by Special Branch back in 2003 before and during the Iraq war. Now they may have found IEDs in his workshop which to quote the BBC and The Guardian had a series of 'elaborate and complex electronic locks' on it.

All pretty weird.

Wow, that's just terrible. That poor little girl, stuck for more than 8 hours under dead bodies, probably too afraid to move or make a sound.
