RIP Ron Palillo

Probably most of our members would need Google or Wikipedia on the name, but the old farts like me remember him as Arnold Horshack in Welcome Back Kotter (on from 1975-79, so it's not going to be a surprise that most of you have no clue who he was).

I'm told he was my generation's Screech (whatever that it).

It's interesting to note that a Google of him shows all these hits about the fact that he was gay, as if that matters. He was the right guy for the role and based on the stuff written, was a really nice guy.

Robert Hegyes (Juan Epstein from Kotter) died what, 6 months ago or so. About the same age too.

Yup - he died in January.

I remember that show. Early 60's is young age to die this day and age.
