TWO-HANDED SWORDS

The massive Two-handed Sword is often the weapon of choice of strong warriors who would rather do a lot of damage to the enemy than worry about protecting themselves with a shield. When enchanted, they become even more deadly. As the name implies, due to their weight you have to use both hands to use them, so you can't use a shield or a secondary weapon along with them.

Equipped Abilities:
- 50% Magic Resistance.
- Dispel Magic 3 times per day.
Combat Abilities:
- +5 Damage to Chaotic Evil opponents.
- Dispels magic when the sword strikes an opponent.
THAC0: +5.
Damage: 1D12 + 5.
Weight: 7.
Speed Factor: 5.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Usable By: Paladins.

Location:

Dropped by Firkraag at 2 on Level 3 of the Windspear Hills Dungeon.

Carsomyr +6

Properties:

Equipped Abilities:
- 50% Magic Resistance.

- +6 damage to Chaotic Evil opponents, in addition to other bonuses.
- Dispels magic whenever the sword strikes an opponent.

- Causes wielder to go berserk.
- Can only be removed with a Remove Curse spell.
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Dropped by Smaeluv Orcslicer at 5 in the Den of the Seven Vales.

Flame of the North +2

Properties:

Equipped Ability: 10% Magic Resistance.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D10 + 2, +4 extra damage to Chaotic Evil opponents.
Weight: 10.
Speed Factor: 8.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Dropped by the Ulitharid behind the Mind Flayer door at 12 on Level 3 of the Asylum Dungeon.

Gram the Sword of Grief +5

Properties:

Combat Ability: 10% chance of 2D12 Poison damage.
THAC0: +5.
Damage: 1D10 + 5.
Weight: 9.
Speed Factor: 5.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Gram the Sword of Grief +5 (Improved)

Properties:

Special Ability: 5% Magic Resistance when equipped.
Combat Abilities:

- Each hit target must save vs. death at -5 penalty or lose 1 level.

Damage: 1D10 + 5.
Weight: 9.
Speed Factor: 5.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Speed Factor: 8.
Usable only by: Keldorn.

Location:

Part of Keldorn's starting equipment.

Harbinger +3

Properties:

Combat Ability: Fireball. There is a 5% chance per hit that a 10d6 Fireball explodes, centered on the target.
Flesh to stone. All ogres when hit must make a save vs. spells or be turned to stone.
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D10 + 3.
Weight: 10.
Speed Factor: 7.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Sold by the Weapons Merchant at 3 in Ust Natha.

Joril's Dagger +3

Combat Ability: 25% chance of each hit confusing an opponent for three rounds (save vs. spells to netage effect).

Damage: 1D10 + 3, +1 Cold damage.
Weight: 10.
Speed Factor: 7.
Requires: 13 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Sold by Joluv at 6 in the Copper Coronet if you have installed the Bonus Merchants pack.

Lilarcor +3

Properties:

Equipped Abilities: Immunity to Charm and Confusion.
Weight: 10.
Speed Factor: 8.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Found at 12 in the Slums Sewers in connection with the Sword in the Sewers quest if you place the four items on the pipes in the correct order.

Psion's Blade +5

Properties:

Grants immunity to Confusion and all Psionic attacks when wielded.
Damage: 1D10 + 5.
THAC0: +5.
Weight: 9.
Speed Factor: 5.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Found at 10 on Level 1 of Yaga-Shura's Stronghold.

Silver Sword

Properties:

25% chance each hit that target must make a saving throw vs. death (-2 penalty).
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D10 + 3.
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Forged by Cromwell at 19 in the Docks District if you bring him the Silver Blade, the Silver Hilt, and 7,500 GP.

Soul Reaver +4

Properties:

Each hit gives target a cumulative 2-point penalty to THAC0. Duration: 20 rounds.
THAC0: +4.
Damage: 1D10 + 4.
Weight: 10.
Speed Factor: 6.
Requites: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, Thieves, and Good characters.

Dropped by one of the Demon Knights at 7 in the Kuo-Toa Dungeon.

Properties:

Ability: Each hit drains one Hit Point from the target and transfers it to the wielder.
