SHORT SWORDS

The Short Sword, often also called the Stabbing Sword, is the favored melee weapon of Thieves and Halflings, though both groups can easily learn to use longer weapons. Of course Halflings are often Thieves, though you may not want to remind Mazzy of this fact. ;-)

Equipped Ability: Wearer is immune to Hold Person.
Special Ability: Once per day, can Haste the character for 12 seconds.

Chaos Blade

Special Ability: Target loses 2 points of dexterity each hit (duration: 30 seconds).

Speed Factor: 0.
Usable by: Tieflings.

Part of Haer'Dalis' starting equipment.

Cutthroat +4

Properties:

THAC0: +4.
Damage: 1D6 + 4.
Weight: 2.
Speed Factor: 1.
Requires: 5 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Found at 5 in Bodhi's Inner Sanctum in Chapter 6.

Entropy

Properties:

Special Abilities: 3 points of Poison damage if target fails saving throw.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: +2.
Weight: 2.
Speed Factor: 0.
Usable by: Tieflings.

Location:

Part of Haer'Dalis' starting equipment.

Ilbratha +1

Properties:

Special Ability: Casts Mirror Image once per day.
THAC0: +1.
Damage: 1D6 + 1.
Weight: 2.
Speed Factor: 2.
Requires: 5 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Given to you by Jermien in his home at 6 in the Umar Hills after you have solved the Mimic's Blood quest and then saved Jermien from his own Golem.

Kundane +2

Properties:

Damage: 1D6 + 2.
Weight: 2.
Speed Factor: 0.
Requires: 5 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.
Combat Ability: Sets number of attacks to +1 per round. (Thanks to Lasivern for this piece of information!)
